Faeces pumps (PFA)
PFA pumps are submersible one-stack vortex pumps with a centrifugal rotor open on one side. These pumps are designated for pumping water, contaminated liquids, faeces, liquid manure and other liquids of density not exceeding 1100 kg/m3, viscosity 13 mm2/s and a length of fibrous sediments does not exceed 20 mm. Pumped liquids can have aggressiveness within corrosive resistance of the unit construction materials.
PFA pumps are used for:
• sewage treatment pumps as auxiliary units
• gardening
• farms
• emptying household septic tanks
• managing rainwater
• water removal from flooded constructions
• emptying swimming pools or tanks.
Parameters:
• modern construction solutions
• guaranteed many years of reliable work and easy access to spare parts
• continual technical supervision, and guarantee and post-guarantee technical servicing
• low purchase and operation costs
• execution of individual requirements and product customisation to customer requirements
• relatively long life cycle in difficult operating conditions.
Design
PFA unit is an one-stack vortex pump with a centrifugal rotor open on one side, driven by an induction motor through a shaft. The shaft is provided with sliding bearings in a bearing sleeve installed in the pump body. The shaft is covered by a protective-distancing sleeve, connecting the pump body with a motor connecting body. The pump body is covered with the inlet cover forming a base, on which the pump can be placed on the tank bottom. A handle with a hanger is installed on the motor tank flange, used for installing the unit in the tank opening and protecting the motor against mechanical damage during unit storage and transport.
